Visitors to Mining in Society get to use their imaginations and conduct their own exploration into the world of mining and mineral processing, one of Canada’s most important sectors.

From May 9-11, explorers of all ages are invited to make the next big discovery at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.

Mining in Society includes a wide variety of education and fun activities that cover the entire mining cycle: Exploration, Mining and Processing, Product and Fabrication, Sustainability and Education.
